Four partners, one shared standard
Les Tontons Trinqueurs was founded in early 2024 in Ancenis, between Nantes and Angers,
when four spirits enthusiasts came together. We were united by a shared conviction: it is possible to offer distinctive, authentic, and affordable bottles without compromising on quality.
We started out as an independent bottler, but we are now also a distiller. This was a step we had in mind from the very beginning: it gives us complete control over the product, from the raw materials all the way to the bottle.
A simple requirement: nothing superfluous
Our approach boils down to one idea: letting the product speak for itself. No added colorings, no added flavorings, and no sugar to correct any imbalance. A well-crafted spirit doesn’t need any of that.
What we seek is the expression of the terroir and the raw ingredients, and the way in which distillation and then aging reveal their nuances.
Each batch is tasted, discussed, and adjusted until we are fully satisfied—taking as long as necessary, never less.
Our current product line, our future projects
Today, our collection includes rums available in various blends and aging profiles as well as a range of fruit- and herb-based liqueurs.
Each product has its own personality: some are best enjoyed neat, while others are perfect in cocktails or with a meal.
After starting out as a bottler, we’ve taken the next step: we now distill our own spirits.
